The team behind Project K e.V. and the Korean Film Festival is made up of students of Korean Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt as well as people interested in Korea and film. The non-profit association was founded in 2012 in the context of the first Korean film festival together with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Frankfurt and has always pursued the goal of bringing Korean culture – especially Korean film – closer to the German audience. Every year, the volunteers organize Germany’s largest Korean film festival in Frankfurt am Main with the support of the Korean Consulate General.
